Tsui Chi Ho (born February 17, 1990 in Hong Kong ) is a Chinese sprinter who competes internationally for Hong Kong.

Athletic career

Tsui Chi Ho gained his first experience in international competitions at the 2007 Youth World Championships in Ostrava , where he was eliminated in the first round over 100 and 200 meters. The following year he won the bronze medal in the 100-meter run at the Junior Asian Championships in Jakarta in 10.56 s, as well as with the Hong Kong 4 x 100-meter relay in 41.17 s. He then took part in the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz and was eliminated there with 10.74 s in the semifinals. In 2009 he qualified for the World Championships in Berlin , where he was eliminated with 10.77 seconds. At the Asian Championships in Guangzhou he reached the semi-finals in the individual competition and was seventh with the relay in 40.22 s. He then finished fifth at the East Asian Games in Hong Kong and was disqualified in the final with the relay. The following year he finished fourth in the relay at the Asian Games and finished eighth over 100 meters in 12.26 seconds.

At the Asian Championships in 2011 in Kobe , he won the silver medal behind the team from Japan with the relay in 39.26 s and over 100 meters he was eliminated with 10.66 s in the semifinals. He then took part in the World Championships in Daegu over 100 meters and was eliminated there with 10.65 s in the lead. In 2012 he took part in the 60-meter run at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou and was eliminated there with 6.90 s in the semifinals. With the relay he qualified for the first time for the Olympic Games in London , in which he was eliminated with 38.61 s in qualification . At the 2013 Asian Championships in Pune , he celebrated his greatest success to date with winning the relay in 38.94 s. Over 100 meters he was eliminated in the semifinals with 10.52 s. He then retired at the World Championships in Moscow with the relay in the run-up and won the silver medal at the East Asian Games in Tianjin . In the individual competition he was fourth there in 10.55 s.

In 2014 he again took part in the Asian Games in Incheon , South Korea , where he won the bronze medal in the relay in 38.98 seconds and again reached the semi-finals in the 100-meter run. The following year he won the silver medal behind China at the Asian Championships in Wuhan with the Hong Kong relay in 39.25 s . Two years later he won the bronze medal with the relay at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar in 39.53 s and was eliminated from the individual competition once more in the semifinals. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the third time , where he finished seventh with the Hong Kong relay in 39.48 s and eliminated in the semifinals over 100 meters with 10.76 s. The following year he retired from the Asian Championships in Doha with 10.63 s in the first round and reached fifth place with the relay in 39.91 s.
