Siripol Punpa (born September 9, 1999 ) is a Thai athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Siripol Punpa gained his first international experience at the Southeast Asian Games 2017 in Kuala Lumpur , where he finished sixth in the 200-meter run in 21.56 s. The following year he took part in the Junior Asian Championships in Gifu and was eliminated there with 22.91 s in the run-up. At the end of August he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and was part of the 4 x 100 meter relay there in the run-up, which later finished sixth in the final. In 2019 he won the relay in 38.99 s at the Asian Championships in Doha and reached the semi-finals over 100 meters, in which he was eliminated with 11.19 s. Then he reached the summer Universiade in Naples over 100 meters to the semifinals and was eliminated there with 10.56 s, while he was disqualified with the relay in the run-up. Before that, he retired from the World Relays in Yokohama with 38.82 s in advance. At the beginning of December he won the silver medal behind his compatriot Chayut Khongprasit at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 20.78 s and won the season with 39.27 s.
