22°07′01″S 43°12′32″W / 22.11694°S 43.20889°W Três Rios is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. As of 2007 its population was 72,848 and its area is 325 km².[1] As of 2009, the mayor of Três Rios is Vinicius Farah.
Sports
There are three sport clubs in the city. América, Entrerriense and Três Rios. América's football section is currently closed, but the club still disputes basketball competitions. Entrerriense and Três Rios FC's football sections are currently active. Três Rios is currently disputing Campeonato Carioca Third Level.
