Ö1 Inforadio was an information program of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) under the umbrella of the radio station Ö1 . As an internet radio station, it offered news, information, background, politics and culture 24 hours a day. In April 2011, it was discontinued without notice. In contrast to the regular radio program Ö1 (Ö1-Kulturradio) , Ö1 Inforadio only contained collected verbatim contributions from news programs and information journals that had already been broadcast. It could only be received via an Internet livestream ( mp3 and Windows Media Stream ). The journals are still available at any time in the ORF media library .

End of March 2010, the website was Ö1 (oe1.ORF.at) a relaunch been subjected. The text offers published on the Ö1 Inforadio web portal up to this point were largely lost. There was also no longer a separate page for Ö1 Inforadio. The program itself remains intact, it was said in mid-2010.
