... affrocke !! ( Kölsch for "rock out") is the second live album by the Cologne rock band BAP . It was released by EMI Electrola in 1991 and reached number 5 on the German album charts .

Originally the album was supposed to be called Met der decke Trumm ( Kölsch for “With the thick drum”).

The original CD version from 1991 appeared in an elaborate cardboard cover. This was later replaced by a normal plastic CD double cover. Due to the excess length, the vinyl version is 4 songs shorter than the CD version. From … affrocke !! In contrast to the studio albums by BAP, there is no remastered version.

Songs and album art

17 of the total of 20 songs by … affrocke !! are live recordings from BAP's previous studio albums. The album X for 'e U, which was current at the time, is most strongly represented with six tracks. Three songs each come from Affjetaut (1980) and Für usszeschnigge! (1981) and two each from the two LPs Zwesche Salzjebäck un Bier (1984) and Da Capo (1988). There is also a song by Ahl Männer, aalglatt (1986). There are two cover versions of the remaining tracks: Heroes / Helden by David Bowie and Ex, hopp & weg, a cover version of Colin James ' Just Came Back .

The song Luckiest Man in the Western World was composed and sung by Julian Dawson , who accompanied BAP as a guest on the "X for 'e U" tour, and was the title track on his 1988 album of the same name.

The album cover shows the bass drum of the drum kit as a black and white photo with the large BAP logo, above which the writing ... affrocke !! stands.
