Live and in color is the fourth live album by the Cologne rock band BAP . It was released in 2009 by EMI as a 3-CD box. The album is a compilation of several concerts from the Radio Pandora Tour 2008/2009. Most of the tracks were recorded on December 26, 2008 in Cologne, with further tracks in Stuttgart , Saarbrücken , Berlin , Neuried , Leipzig and Frankfurt . All tracks on the album were recorded during the first ten concerts of the tour and the album was released during the tour.
Songs
Like the concerts, the album begins with a quote from Unterwegs (original title: On the road) by Jack Kerouac , spoken by Christian Brückner . This introduction is followed by the song Wat for e`Booch! from the album Radio Pandora . The songs on the album are like a cross-section through the band's history. The focus is on the songs from the tour album Radio Pandora , but at least one song from almost every other album by the band appears in the setlist. The selection of songs corresponds to the set list of the Cologne concert. Two of the songs ( For a moment and ass huh, Zäng ussenander ) were only played at this concert. Five songs ( Frankie un er; Wolf un Scorpion; Hühr zo, Pandora; Souvenirs; Alexandra, not only do ) were not played on December 26th. But it was important to the band that these appear on the album. As usual, the live album also features an additional non-BAP song, in this case Millione Meile (Million Miles) by Rory Gallagher .
Guest musician
Guest musicians on the tour were Anne de Wolff , Rhani Krija and Jo Steinebach , who had also worked on the Radio Pandora albums.
