Helmut Krumminga (* 22. December 1961 in Papenburg , Lower Saxony ) is a German rock - guitarist .

He moved to the school to Cologne to where jazz guitar study. After failing the entrance examination, he began to make a name for himself in clubs and at festivals in the 1980s .

Krumminga played with LSE , Paint the Town and Wolf Maahn , among others . He is currently playing with Gerd Köster and Frank Hocker . He also plays a few concerts a year as Inga and Krumminga as a duo with Inga Rumpf , but also with the BAP musicians Werner Kopal and Michael Nass and the Hamburg drummer Robin Fuhrmann together as a complete band under the name KK'nF with Inga Rumpf.

From 1999 to 2014 he was the lead guitarist of BAP and composed many songs for the band since the 2001 album Aff un zo . He was also the guitarist for Wolfgang Niedecken & WDR Big Band , a solo project by the singer from BAP.
