The fifth live album by the Cologne rock band BAP is a full program . It was released in 2011 by EMI as a DVD / 2 CD box. The title of the box alludes to the fact that with the 60th birthday of the band's founder Wolfgang Niedecken, the publication of his autobiography “Für ´ne Moment” (with subsequent reading tour) and the 17th studio album Halv su wild by BAP, the thirty-fifth existence of the band and the summer open airs under the title “The Classics” in 2011 for the band and Wolfgang Niedecken a full program to complete.

The DVD contains two films. The first is a recording of the “launch” of the new CD “Halv su wild” on March 30, 2011 on the MS Rheinenergie, which will also be celebrated as a birthday concert for Wolfgang Niedecken. As a birthday surprise for Wolfgang Niedecken, u. a. at the beginning of the concert the band played the song Birthday by the Beatles . The second film is a documentary about the Rebound project co-founded by Wolfgang Niedecken. The film was shot in Beni in the Democratic Republic of the Congo by Wolfgang Niedecken's son Robin Humboldt. CD 1 contains recordings from BAPFEST, with which the band's 35th anniversary was celebrated. The BAPFEST was celebrated on May 27th and 28th 2011 in Cologne on the Roncalliplatz. On May 27th the band performed together with the WDR Big Band Cologne , on May 28th. there was a pure BAP concert. The CD mainly contains the selection of songs that developed from the collaboration between Wolfgang Niedecken and the WDR Big Band under the slogans "KOELN" and "Deutschlandlieder". The CD is supplemented with two bonus tracks: Redemption Song by Bob Marley together with the German reggae musician Gentleman and a version of the Springsteen song Hungry Heart. The songs on CD 2 were recorded on August 25, 2011 during the concert at Merode Castle in Langerwehe as part of the “Die Klassiker” summer open airs.

Contributors

Several special guests appeared at the “launch”. Gentleman sang in a duet with Wolfgang Niedecken Redemption Song and Julian Dawson performed Sunny Afternoon from The Kinks as a birthday serenade . Kai and Thorsten Wingenfelder and Christoph Stein-Schneider from Fury in the Slaughterhouse played together with BAP for Wolfgang Niedecken All the young Dudes and Won´t forget these days . At the end of the concert, Tommy Engel , Bömmel Lückerath and Erry Stoklosa, who played together with the Cologne band Bläck Fööss until 1994 , also performed and played the BAP song Für `ne Moment und En Unser Veedel by Bläck Fööss together with the band . During the credits, Wolfgang Niedecken sings the song Heimweh nach Köln with Hans Süper .

At BAPFEST, Johan Hörlén , Karolina Strassmayer , Olivier Peters , Paul Heller , Jens Neufang , Wim Both , Rob Bruynen , Christoph Moschberger, Klaus Osterloh , Andy Haderer , John Marshall , Ludwig Nuss , Bernt Laukamp , Marshall Gilkes played with the WDR Big Band Cologne , Nils Marquardt, Mattis Cederberg , Frank Chastenier , Paul Shigihara , John Goldsby and Hans Dekker . Mike Herting was the musical director and was also responsible for the arrangements. Nick Nikitakis played the bouzouki intro to Arsch huh, Zäng ussenander .
