43rd Cavalry Brigade (German Empire)
The 43rd Cavalry Brigade was a large unit of the Prussian Army .
history
In the course of the army expansion, the brigade was established by ordinance of the War Ministry on October 1, 1913. The command was in Gumbinnen . The brigade belonged to the 2nd Division and the Uhlan Regiment "Graf zu Dohna" (East Prussian) No. 8 and the newly formed Jäger-Regiment on Horses No. 10 were subordinate to it.
When the First World War broke out , the brigade was disbanded. The Jäger Regiment on Horses No. 10 joined the 2nd Infantry Division as division cavalry , the Uhlan Regiment "Graf zu Dohna" (East Prussian) No. 8 joined the 1st Infantry Division.
