3rd Cavalry Brigade No. 32

The 3rd Cavalry Brigade No. 32 was a large unit of the Saxon Army .

history

The brigade was established by order of the War Department on April 1, 1887. The command was in Dresden . The brigade belonged to 3rd Division No. 32 and the Karabiner Regiment and the 2nd Uhlan Regiment No. 18 were subordinate to it. On April 1, 1897, the subordination changed. The two regiments were subordinated to the 2nd Cavalry Brigade No. 24 and replaced by the 1st King Hussar Regiment No. 18 and the 2nd Queen Hussar Regiment No. 19 . With the establishment of the 3rd Hussar Regiment No. 20 on October 1, 1910, the 2nd Hussar Regiment No. 19 left the brigade group.

The brigade was disbanded with the outbreak of the First World War . The 1st Hussar Regiment "King Albert" became division cavalry of the 3rd Infantry Division No. 32, the 3rd Hussar Regiment No. 20 of the 1st Infantry Division No. 23 .
