history
The brigade was established on April 29, 1852 and was subordinate to the 2nd Guard Division of the Guard Corps . The command remained in Berlin until the large association was dissolved in 1919.
Franco-German War
In the war against France , the brigade fought in the Battle of Gravelotte and the Battle of Sedan and took part in the siege of Paris . Here it came to the battle of Le Bourget .
First World War
During the First World War , the brigade was deployed from July 1915 at Krasnystaw and Biskupice and from Wieprz to Jasziolda .
In September the brigade was transferred to the Western Front. This was followed by fights at La Bassée and Arras , trench warfare in Artois and, until February 1916, in position between Roye and Noyon .
Whereabouts
In the course of the demobilization caused by the Versailles Peace Treaty , the brigade was disbanded in 1919.
