Paul Carl Wilhelm Heinrich von Kropff (born November 19, 1832 in Berlin , † July 28, 1898 in Braunschweig ) was a Prussian lieutenant general .

Life

origin

He was the son of the later Prussian Lieutenant General Karl von Kropff (1793–1872) and his first wife Bertha, born von Alvensleben († 1892) from the Schochwitz family . This marriage was divorced on December 11, 1852. She was the daughter of Lieutenant General Johann Friedrich Karl II von Alvensleben and sister of Lieutenant General Hermann von Alvensleben .

Military career

After visiting the school Kropff occurred on October 1, 1849 as Fusilier in the 2nd Guards Regiment walk the Prussian Army in Berlin one. Kropff married Marie Louise Klara von Ingersleben on April 5, 1862 (* October 20, 1834 - † September 27, 1903). She was a daughter of Privy Councilor Ludwig Karl Friedrich von Ingersleben and Sophie von Loga and the granddaughter of Major General Kasimir von Ingersleben . The marriage resulted in the sons Curt (* February 9, 1864) and Karl-Udo (* March 8, 1868), who also embarked on an officer career in the Prussian Army, as well as the daughter Margarete (* March 27, 1872).
