4th Guards Cavalry Brigade (German Empire)
The 4th Guard Cavalry Brigade was a large unit of the Prussian Army .
history
In the course of the army expansion, the brigade was established by ordinance of the War Ministry from February 1 to April 1, 1890. The command was in Potsdam . The brigade belonged to the Guard Cavalry Division and the Leib-Guard Hussar Regiment and the 2nd Guard Uhlan Regiment were subordinate to it.
When the First World War broke out , the brigade was disbanded. The Leib Guard Hussar Regiment joined the 1st Guard Infantry Division as division cavalry , the 2nd Guard Uhlan Regiment joined the 2nd Guard Infantry Division .
