Politics and world events
Europe
According to legend, Aulus Postumius Albus Regillensis and Titus Verginius Tricostus Caelimontanus were consuls of the early Roman Republic . Aulus Postumius Albus Regillensis is also still dictator with the magister equitum Titus Aebutius Helva because of the Latin War .
Around 496 BC During the First Latin War, the fabulous decisive battle between the Romans and the Latins takes place on Regillus lacus . Legend has it that the two demigods Castor and Pollux fight on the side of Rome, while the Latins are led by the last Roman king, Lucius Tarquinius Superbus . Historically, this battle should therefore also be understood as a battle between the two forms of government, the monarchy and the republic , which the latter decides for itself. Rome thus gains supremacy in the central Italian region of Latium , but cannot completely subjugate the Latins.
Asia
After Yunchang's death , his son Goujian becomes King of Yue State at the end of the spring and autumn annals season in China . The neighboring state of Wu takes the change of the throne as an opportunity to attack Yue, but is defeated by the new ruler with a ruse.

In Rome the construction of a three-cell temple with an Etruscan floor plan begins for Ceres , the goddess of agriculture , fertility and marriage , as well as for the divine siblings Liber and Libera , who - also responsible for fertility - form a triad with Ceres .
