  • Under construction
  • In planning
  • The Autocesta A8 ( Croatian for 'Autobahn A8'), also known as the Učka Autobahn , is an expressway with two-way traffic east of Pazin (comparable to consistently prioritized federal roads) and, since October 29, 2011, a freeway west of the Rogovići slip road , which has part of the Istrian Ypsilon in the west of Croatia . The route is about 64 kilometers long and leads from Rovinj through the Učka Mountains to Matulji near Rijeka , where it meets the Autocesta A7 . A fee is charged for the five-kilometer-long, single-tube Učka tunnel and the route to the west of it; the route to the east of the tunnel is not subject to tolls . A second tunnel tube for the older tunnel is being planned. A new tunnel is also up for discussion.
