The Eckering section fortification is an abandoned early medieval spur castle ( section wall ) on a steeply sloping 600  m above sea level to the east NHN high terrain spur near Eckering , a district of the Grabenstätt municipality in the Traunstein district in Bavaria .

Wall and moat remains of the former castle complex, whose moat was destroyed in 1959, are still preserved. The Burgstall is now a ground monument .
