The portion fixing Palling is an Outbound medieval Höhenburg ( section wall ) on a forward Southeast 565  m above sea level. NHN high protrusion of the Pallinger mountain about 400 meters northwest of the church of Palling in the district of Traunstein in Bavaria .

From the former ramparts, which were presumably used as a refuge , an approximately 115-meter-long moat, as well as remnants of ramparts and moats, have survived . The southern part of the castle complex was destroyed by a quarry. The Burgstall is now a ground monument .
