Adam Nolan

Adam Patrick Nolan (* 11. March 1987 in Wexford ) is a former Irish boxer in the welterweight division . Among other things, he was an Olympic participant in 2012 and a European and World Cup participant in 2013 and 2015.

Boxing career

Adam Nolan won a bronze medal at the Irish Championships in 2010 after a semi-final defeat by William McLaughlin, but won the Irish championship the following year with a final victory over Karl Brabazon. In 2012 he defeated Craig McCarthy, Michael O'Reilly , this time also William McLaughlin and in the final John Joyce , which he won his second Irish championship in a row. He also took part in the Chemistry Cup in Germany , where he beat Vasile Belous and Abdülkadir Köroğlu before retiring with a bronze medal against Araik Marutjan .
