Ahmet Muhtar Mollaoğlu
Ahmet Muhtar Mollaoğlu (* 1870 , † 1934 ) was a Turkish diplomat, politician and foreign minister.
During the Turkish War of Liberation Mollaoğlu represented the Foreign Minister of the Council of Law Enforcement Commissioners Bekir Sami Kunduh , who was in the United Kingdom from February 12, 1921 to March 12, 1921 because of the London Conference . After Bekir Sami Kunduh resigned on May 8, 1921 due to criticism for the conclusion of some contracts with the British, French and Italians, Mollaoğlu took over the business for the second time until the Second Council of Enforcement Commissioners was dissolved on May 8, 1921.
Ahmet Muhtar Mollaoğlu was a member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly for the 1st, 2nd and 4th legislative periods . Mollaoğlu was the Republic of Turkey's first ambassador to Washington, DC In this position he retired and returned to Turkey where he died in 1934.
