Alain Jakubowicz

Alain Jakubowicz , sometimes Alain Jacubowicz, Alan Yaacobovich, Alain Yakobovitz and Alan Yakubovich (* before 1972), is a film editor and production manager .

Life

Jakubowicz has been responsible for editing over 70 films in his career to date, including the teenage comedy Eis am Stiel (1978) with Yiftach Katzur , the horror film Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1987) with Dennis Hopper , the action film Quatermain II - Auf der Search for the Mysterious City (1987) with Richard Chamberlain and Sharon Stone , in the action film Runaway Jane - Alone Against All (2001) with Teri Hatcher and in the thriller Blind Horizon - The Enemy in Me (2003) with Val Kilmer. Many of his films were made under the producers Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus .

Jakubowicz also works as a production manager, for example at Masters of the Universe (1987) with Dolph Lundgren . He works less often as a film director, for example in the mystery action thriller Tornado - Tödlicher Sog (2004) with Daniel Bernhardt .
