At the beginning of January 2017, Rodríguez and his brother El Hijo de Dos Caras attended a performance by the European Wrestling Association in Leoben , Austria , where they played a match with Chris Raaber . After the match, however, there was a scramble at a party, whereupon a man was beaten up to hospital. Because of this incident, the two brothers were taken to the police station. But there the situation escalated again, this time the brothers attacked each other. It took 10 police officers to separate the two. The handcuffs were too small for Rodríguez and cable ties were put on him. But he tore these so that ankle shackles were used. According to a spokesman for the department, the property damage was minor, including a wall had to be repainted due to blood splatters. His brother had to be taken to hospital, and Rodríguez himself was charged with bodily harm and property damage.
