Albertshof (Hohenfels)

Albertshof is a district of the Hohenfels market in the Neumarkt district in the Upper Palatinate . The hamlet was in the 1930s of two courtyards, in 1938 for the construction of a military training area had to be abandoned. At the time, the place belonged to the political community of Großbissendorf in the Parsberg district . The Catholic Church of St. Laurentius von Albertshof was a branch church of Hohenfels.

The community of Großbissendorf was incorporated into the Hohenfels market on May 1, 1978.

Today, Albertshof is the main base of the US Army with residential buildings, vehicle and storage facilities for military equipment.
