history

Hausraitenbuch was the seat of the noble family of Raitenbuch, first mentioned in 1126/29, as ministerials of the Regensburg bishopric . They called themselves Hohenfels from 1200 after they had built Hohenfels Castle and relocated their center of power there. At Hausraitenbuch there was also the gallows of this rule. After the bishopric had built a new ministerial seat in the neighboring Raitenbuch, the old seat, which was probably still in ruins, was marked as Hausraitenbuch in the late Middle Ages. The solution from the Hochstift came in 1445, when Hanns was given by “Raidenbuch” and others “Hausraidenbuch”. In 1585 the family died out, successors were the Parsbergs. Around 1600 the place is recorded in Christoph Vogel's map work as "Hauß / Haus Raitenbuch / Raitenpuech". Towards the end of the Old Kingdom , around 1800, Hausraitenbuch consisted of a three-quarter courtyard , a quarter courtyard belonging to Hofmark Raitenbuch , and two smaller properties under the high jurisdiction of the Upper Palatinate Office of Hohenfels .

In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the Raitenbuch tax district was formed in the Parsberg district court (later Parsberg district ) around 1810 , including the village of Hausraitenbuch. With the second Bavarian community edict of 1818, the rural community of the same name was created with seven places (eleven places in the 20th century), including Hausraitenbuch. This community was incorporated into Hohenfels on May 1, 1978. Since then, Hausraitenbuch has been an officially named district of Hohenfels.
