Loch is a district of the Hohenfels market in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The desert is in the Upper Palatinate Jura of the southern Franconian Jura approx. 2 km southwest of Hohenfels at approx. 509 m above sea ​​level . Near elevations in the north, west and south rise to 557 m above sea level. NHN and make the wasteland appear like in a forest hole.

history

Loch appears in the Salbuch of the Hohenfels dominion from 1494/1500 with a Sölde. Towards the end of the Old Kingdom , around 1800, Loch in the Hohenfels Care Office still consisted of just one courtyard, the size of an eighth courtyard.

In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the Raitenbuch tax district was formed from twelve places in the Parsberg district court (later Parsberg district ) ; the wasteland of Loch belonged to it. With the second Bavarian Gemeindeedikt of 1818 which was Rural Municipality United Bissendorf formed with ten locations, including hole. This community with the last nine places was incorporated into Hohenfels on May 1, 1978. Since then, Loch has been an officially named district of Hohenfels.

Church and school conditions

The Hohenfels district of Loch belonged in the 19th and 20th centuries. Century to the district of the Catholic parish Hohenfels in the diocese of Regensburg . In the 19th century and around 1900 the children went 2.5 km to Hohenfels, around 1925/1960 1.5 km to Raitenbuch to the Catholic school. Today the wasteland belongs to the district of the Hohenfels elementary school.
