Röschenberg is a district of the Hohenfels market in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The settlement is in the Upper Palatinate Jura of the southern Franconian Jura about 4.5 km west of Hohenfels at about 498 m above sea level south of the plateau elevation (576 m above sea level), east of the Adamsberg (555 m above sea level) and northwest of the Tannenberg (575 m above sea level).

The place name appears for the first time in 1964. The wasteland was assigned to the Raitenbuch community , which was incorporated into Hohenfels on May 1, 1978. Since then, Röschenhof has been an officially named district of Hohenfels.
