Alexander zu Schaumburg-Lippe
Alexander Prinz zu Schaumburg-Lippe (born December 25, 1958 in Düsseldorf ) is a German entrepreneur as well as a farmer and forester. Following the family tradition, he has been called Alexander Fürst zu Schaumburg-Lippe since 2003 .
Life
Origin, education and occupation
Alexander is the second son of Philipp Ernst zu Schaumburg-Lippe (1928–2003) and his wife Eva-Benita, born Freiin von Tiele-Winckler (1927–2013). Since his older brother Georg-Wilhelm had a fatal accident in a motorcycle accident in 1983, Alexander zu Schaumburg-Lippe became his heir after the death of his father. He first studied political science and musicology with a career in journalism at the University of Munich . After the death of his brother Alexander, Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe began at the University of Göttingen , the Jura -Studies, which he completed 1989th Soon after his first marriage in 1993, he became the general representative of the Princely Court Chamber of Bückeburg , the family's private asset management company.

Private life
From his marriage to Marie-Louise "Lilly" Princess zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg , a son was born in 1994. They married in 1993 and divorced in 2002. After a liaison with the designer Jette Joop from 2001 to 2004, he married the Munich lawyer Nadja Anna Zsöks (* 1975) on June 30, 2007 . He has two daughters with her. The couple's split became known in March 2015. The divorce took place in June 2018. He now lives with the Iranian concert pianist Mahkameh Navabi. In January 2020, the Princely Court Chamber in Bückeburg announced the engagement, the wedding is to follow in late summer. His son becomes best man and his ex-wife “Lilly” is one of the bridesmaids.
Alexander zu Schaumburg-Lippe is an accomplished hobby jazz pianist who occasionally performs in front of a large audience. He is a member of the Evangelical Reformed Church in Bückeburg .
Non-professional activities
Alexander zu Schaumburg-Lippe works as a patron or in another function for several German and German-Israeli non-profit organizations. He is a member of the FDP , for which he is involved in newspaper articles and election campaigns. He was a substitute member of the 14th Federal Assembly on June 30, 2010, a member of the 15th Federal Assembly and a member of the 16th Federal Assembly .
About the party Alternative for Germany , the deputy chairman of his cousin Beatrix von Storch is Alexander the expressed Schaumburg-Lippe in February 2016 in an interview with the online edition of "star" critical.
Dispute over rights to names and their trademark rights
In 2003 he led a legal dispute over the domain www.schaumburg-lippe.de.
