Aljochino ( Russian Алёхино , German Naukritten ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad ( Koenigsberg area (Prussia) ) and belongs to the Domnowskoje selskoje posselenije (rural community Domnowo (Domnau) ) in Pravdinsk district ( Friedland district (Ostpr.) ).

Geographical location

Aljochino is located 17 kilometers west of Prawdinsk (Friedland) directly on the border between Pravdinsk Rajon ( Friedland district ) and Bagrationovsk Rajon ( Preussisch Eylau district ) on a side road, the Domnowo (Domnau) with Tischino (Abschwangen) on the Russian highway A 196 (former German Reichsstrasse 131 ) connects. Until 1945 Domnau was the next train station on the railway line from Königsberg (today Russian: Kaliningrad) to Angerburg (now Polish: Węgorzewo), but it was not put back into operation.

In 1945 northern East Prussia and with it Naukritten came to the Soviet Union and in 1947 was given the name "Aljochino". Aljochino was incorporated into the Domnowski Soviet (Dorfsovjet Domnowo (Domnau) ) until 2009 and has since become a “settlement” (Russian: possjolok) within the Domnowskoje selskoje posselenije (rural municipality Domnowo) in the Rajon due to structural and administrative reform Pravdinsk .
