Amtmannsdorf ( Bavarian Obmaschdorf ) is a district of the town of Beilngries in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt .

The place is located south of the Altmühltal on the plateau of the Southern Franconian Alb in the Altmühltal Nature Park on the B 299 leading from Beilngries to Neustadt an der Donau .

"Anthalmesdorf" (= village of Anthelm) appears for the first time in 1194 in a document, as an episcopal property. At this time, Bishop Otto gave parts of his property in the village to the Schottenkloster Eichstätt . In the dispute over the Hirschberg legacy after the extinction of the Counts of Hirschberg with Count Gebhard VII, the episcopal rights in “Anthalmsdorf” were confirmed in the Gaimersheim judgment of October 19, 1305. With the secularization of 1802/03, the manorial rule of the Eichstätter bishop ended in Amtmannsdorf, and the place came to the Archduke Grand Duke Ferdinand of Tuscany . From 1806 Bavarian , the village belonged to the area of ​​the district court Beilngries, which was initially assigned to the Altmühlkreis. In 1809 Amtmannsdorf was combined with Vogelthal and Grögling to form the tax district Amtmannsdorf. From 1810 this belonged to the Oberdonaukreis . In 1811 the three places were merged to form a rural community . From 1817 this belonged to the Regenkreis . In 1818 the community was dissolved, and Amtmannsdorf was again an independent community, which was assigned to the Middle Franconia district from 1838 .

During the Bavarian territorial reform , the place joined the city of Beilngries on January 1, 1972. In 1983 there were 22 agricultural properties and a craft business in Amtmannsdorf with 132 inhabitants.

Amtmannsdorf, since time immemorial a branch of the original parish Kottingwörth , was parish there in 1792 after the establishment of the parish Paulushofen . The Church of St. Nicholas was built around 1194 and completely rebuilt in 1896.
