Andreas Tschopp

Andreas Tschopp (born May 15, 1979 in Zurich ) is a Swiss modern jazz musician . He plays the trombone and bass trombone .

Live and act

Tschopp, whose younger brother is the saxophonist Matthias Tschopp , studied trombone in the jazz department of the Basel School of Music with Adrian Mears until 2003 . Already at this time he belonged to the radio band Starch , with whom he recorded several albums and toured internationally. Then he became a member of groups such as Kaspar Ewald's Exorbitantes Kabinett , the Swiss Jazz Orchestra and von Hildegard learns to fly , where he has been involved in four albums so far (2015).
