Anna Kubin (* 1976 in Münster ) is a German actress and speaker.

Life

Anna Kubin is the daughter of the sinologist Wolfgang Kubin . She completed an acting training at the Berlin University of the Arts . At the same time she received training in ballet, dance, jazz dance, chanson and classical singing. This was followed by theater engagements at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin , at the Schauspiel Köln and at the Bad Hersfeld Festival until 2006 . She played, among others, Julie in The Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas , Pia in Ladies in the Company of Clare Boothe Luce , Nastja in Nachtasyl by Maxim Gorki , Sascha in Platonow by Anton Chekhov , Inken in Before Sunset by Gerhart Hauptmann and Eve in Der zerbrochne Krug by Heinrich von Kleist .

In 2006 Kubin played the role of Polly Peachum in Brecht / Weill's Die Dreigroschenoper at the Bad Hersfeld Festival . For this she was awarded the audience award of the Bad Hersfeld Festival in 2006. In 2003 she was nominated as the best young actress by the magazine Theater heute .

From the 2006/07 season until 2015 Anna Kubin was a permanent member of the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus ensemble . She played the title role in Emilia Galotti by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing , Selma and Walburg in Die Ratten by Gerhart Hauptmann, Klara in Maria Magdalena by Friedrich Hebbel and Gabrielle in the operetta Pariser Leben by Jacques Offenbach . Other roles at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus included a.
