Anne-Theresa Møller (born 1981 in Kempten ) is a German opera singer . She sings in the mezzo-soprano and alto voices .
education
Anne-Theresa Møller studied at the “Hanns Eisler” Academy of Music in Berlin with Júlia Várady and Renate Faltin and attended master classes with Wolfram Rieger , Ann Murray , Brigitte Fassbaender and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau . She was a fellow of studienstiftung .
Engagements
During her studies she was engaged at the National Theater Mannheim . In Mannheim she sang roles in the lyrical mezzo, such as Charlotte in Werther , Octavian in Rosenkavalier , Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia , Dorabella in Così fan tutte , Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro , Muse / Nicklausse in Hoffmann's stories , Mrs. Grose in The Turn of the Screw , Hansel in Hansel and Gretel , Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus , Olga in Eugen Onegin , Magdalena in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and Wellgunde in Das Rheingold .
In the opera The Idiot by Mieczysław Weinberg , she sang the main role Aglaja under the musical direction of Thomas Sanderling . She got engagements in South Korea at the Daegu International Opera Festival and in Japan , where she sang the alto part of the 2nd Symphony by Gustav Mahler at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater Concert Hall . In the 2015/2016 season she made her debut at the Landestheater Niederbayern as Brangäne in Richard Wagner's Tristan und Isolde .
Her venues include the Deutsche Oper Berlin , the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe , the Saarland State Theater , the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden , the Heidelberg Theater , the Freiburg Theater , the Bielefeld Theater , the Cottbus State Theater , the Koblenz Theater and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Berlin Philharmonic , Berlin Konzerthaus and Tokyo Metropolitan Theater Concert Hall. She worked with the conductors Dan Ettinger , Donald Runnicles , Axel Kober , Hans Graf , Friedemann Layer , Cornelius Meister , Justus Frantz , Jan Latham-König , Kenichiro Kobayashi and Jörg-Peter Weigle . She was a guest at the festivals of Lower Saxony Music Festival , Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern , Bodensee Festival , Bonn Schumann Festival , the Leipzig Schumann festival and "Das Lied in Dresden". She was seen with Roger Willemsen in the stage program “The Happy Moment”.
With the 2016/17 season she is a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Vorpommern . Current productions are the title role in Carmen , Ulrica in A Masked Ball and Venus in Tannhäuser .
Recordings
On the occasion of Robert Schumann's 200th birthday , her recital in Zwickau was broadcast on European radio stations. Further recordings are available from Norddeutscher Rundfunk , Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk , Südwestrundfunk , Bayerischer Rundfunk and Deutschlandradio .
