Anne Steinmeier

Anne M. Steinmeier (actually Anne M. Steinmeier-Kleinhempel; born September 17, 1957 in Herne , Westphalia) is a German Evangelical Lutheran theologian , pastor, pastoral psychologist and university teacher .

Life

Steinmeier studied Protestant theology in Bethel , Tübingen and Hamburg , then worked as a research assistant in the seminar for systematic theology , department of social ethics , at the University of Hamburg . In 1990 she became pastor of the North Elbian Ev.-Luth. Church ordained .

This was followed by a doctorate in 1991. theol. in systematic theology. From 1990 to 1994 she was a pastor z. A. active in the seminars for systematic and practical theology at the University of Hamburg. This field of activity included activities as a research assistant, teaching, counseling and pastoral care for students and exam candidates. In 1994 Steinmeier received a scholarship from the University of Hamburg; from 1995 to 1996 a habilitation grant from the DFG . In 1997 she completed her habilitation in practical theology and was appointed private lecturer .

From 1997 she worked as a pastor of the North Elbian Ev.-Luth. Church in the St. Nicolaus parish in Hamburg, associated with the work with mentally handicapped people in the Evangelical Foundation Alsterdorf . At the same time she was employed for life with the North Elbian Ev.-Luth. Church taken over.

From the winter semester 1999/2000 Steinmeier took up the C4 professorship “Practical Theology” with a focus on homiletics , liturgy and pastoral care at the theological faculty of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg . Since the summer semester of 2002 she has been involved in the development of the postgraduate course in liturgical science (Leipzig - Jena - Halle - Erfurt).
