Annedore Kleist

Annedore Kleist (born February 12, 1967 in Wuppertal ) is a German actress .

Life

Annedore Kleist grew up as the youngest of five siblings in Wuppertal and was trained at the School for Drama in Hamburg from 1988 to 1991 . At the Actors Studio in New York she attended workshops by John Costopoulus and took part in another workshop by Uta Hagen in Berlin .

She had her first engagement at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. In the 1991/1992 season there was an appearance in the role of Ginevra in Tankred Dorst's drama Merlin or Das wüsten Land . Further stations were the Mecklenburg State Theater Parchim , the Theater Basel , and the Schillertheater NRW in Wuppertal . In the 1993/1994 season she played the leading role in Elizaveta Bam by Daniil Charms in Parchim and in 1995/1996 she appeared as Mary Warren in Arthur Miller's witch hunt in Basel. Further appearances at the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen and at the Théâtre Vidy in Lausanne followed . In the 2011/2012 season she can be seen at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden as Ida in the operetta Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss .

Annedore Kleist continued to work in various film and television productions .

Among them were the 2008 and 2009 films What if Death Do Us Part? by Ulrike Grote with Naomi Krauss , Monica Bleibtreu and Ulrich Noethen and Tom Tykwers Drei with Sophie Rois , Sebastian Schipper and Devid Striesow . She was also seen as an actress in television series such as Ki.Ka-Krimi.de , Flemming , SOKO Wismar , Polizeiruf 110 and Heiter bis födlich: Nordisch bitter . In 2011 she played the role of Wilma Fuchs in the television film Trench Warfare from the Tatort television series .
