Asian Film Award 2015
The Asian Film Award 2015 was the ninth edition of the Asian Film Award to date . The award for outstanding achievements by Asian filmmakers, which has been presented annually since 2007, is now one of the most influential film prizes in Asia.
A 14-person jury with representatives from a representative cross-section of the Asian film industry and two representatives from Europe awarded prizes in 14 categories. There were also two special awards.
The award ceremony took place up to and including 2013 as part of the Hong Kong International Film Festival , followed in 2014 by the move to the Macau Special Administrative Region of China , located around 50 kilometers west of Hong Kong . The award ceremony took place there in March 2015 in the Venetian Theater of the Venetian Casion and Hotel . This was the second time that Macau was the venue for the event; In addition, the award ceremony was organized jointly for the second time by the film festivals in Hong Kong, Busan and Tokyo .
