Attila Georg Borlan , also Attila Borlan , (* 1968 in Hatzfeld , Banat , Socialist Republic of Romania ) is a German actor .

Life

Attila Georg Borlan was born in the German-speaking region of Romania, in the Banat, where he lived until he was 18. He grew up trilingual, with German and Hungarian (both native speakers) and Romanian . After completing his German Abitur in Romania, he came to Germany as a repatriate .

From 1989 to 1992 he completed his artistic training at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin in the subjects of acting, singing and dance. In the field of musicals , he received a sound vocal training there. He later attended acting and film workshops with Frank Betzelt, Tim Garde and Sigrid Andersson.

From January to April 1993 he played Fred in the musical Anything Goes at the Berlin Theater des Westens . In 1993 he was a guest at the Greizer Theaterherbst. For his portrayal of Büchner's title hero in Woyzeck , he was awarded the actor's prize (1st prize) at the Greizer Autumn Theater. In 1995 he appeared in the musical Cabaret at the Bad Hersfeld Festival . In 1996 he played Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet there and also received the audience award at the Bad Hersfeld Festival.
