Böhmsdorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Groß Gerungs in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 42 building areas with 16,314 m² and 35 gardens on 20,681 m² in the cadastral community Böhmsdorf , in 1989/1990 there were 42 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 133 and in 2009/2010 there were 62 buildings on 107 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 204 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 86 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 185 hectares and 105 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 164 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 111 hectares. The average soil climate of Böhmsdorf is 17.3 (as of 2010).
