Groß Meinharts is a locality and, as Großmeinharts, a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Groß Gerungs in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 45 building areas with 16,171 m² and 16 gardens on 5,523 m² in the cadastral community of Großmeinharts , in 1989/1990 there were 44 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 101 and in 2009/2010 there were 63 buildings on 99 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980, 241 hectares were used for agriculture and 80 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 229 hectares and 91 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 220 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 91 hectares. The average soil climate of Großmeinharts is 20 (as of 2010).
