Klein Wetzles is a locality and, as Kleinwetzles, a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Groß Gerungs in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 51 building areas with 17,412 m² and 3 gardens on 116 m² in the cadastral community of Kleinwetzles , in 1989/1990 there were 50 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 110 and in 2009/2010 there were 74 buildings on 112 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and forestry. 304 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 334 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000, 277 hectares of agriculture were practiced and 358 hectares were designated as forest areas. At the end of 2018, 257 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 357 hectares. The average soil climate number of Kleinwetzles is 14.4 (as of 2010).
