Bach is a hamlet in the municipality of Virgen ( East Tyrol ). The district was inhabited by 13 people in 1991 and is part of the Mitteldorf fraction .

geography

Along with the village of Mitteldorf, Bach is one of the two local parts of Mitteldorf. Bach is located in the valley of the Mitteldorfer Bach at an altitude of around 1,166 meters. The place consists of four houses north of Mitteldorf, west of Zedlach and east of Virgen , whereby the place is connected with each of the places by a road. In 1991, Bach housed a total of three houses with two agricultural and forestry facilities, with four apartments in the three houses. In 2012, the state of Tyrol recorded the farms Gillinger (Mitteldorf-Bach No. 4), Innerblaser (No. 5) and Lienharter (No. 7) as well as another building (No. 6) for Bach.

history

Bach was not specifically named by Statistics Austria for a long time, but included in Mitteldorf's account. Only in the course of the 1951 census was Bach shown separately, whereby the part of the town was then classified as a Rotte , which consisted of six houses with 44 residents. In 1961, the statisticians for Bach also recorded six houses with 42 inhabitants, in 1971 there were three houses with only 12 inhabitants, whereby Bach had now been downgraded to a hamlet. In 1981, eleven people lived in the three houses. In 1991, Statistics Austria showed that Bach had 13 inhabitants.
