Degow train station

Degow station was a residential area in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

The settlement was established in the second half of the 19th century: In 1859 the Belgard – Kolberg line of the Berlin-Szczecin Railway Company was laid out and a train station was set up about 1 kilometer north of Degow .

A small settlement called "Bahnhof Degow" developed near the station. In 1864 there were 22 inhabitants here, in 1905 27 inhabitants.

Until 1945 Degow station formed a residential area in the municipality of Degow and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Prussian province of Pomerania.

After 1945, the place of residence came to Poland , like all of Western Pomerania . Today the place is in the area of ​​the Polish Gmina Dygowo (rural community Degow) , the development is not officially listed as a special residential area.
