Geographical location

The place of residence is in Western Pomerania , about 110 kilometers northeast of Szczecin and about 15 kilometers southeast of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) .

The closest neighboring towns are the village of Dygowo (Degow) in the west, the village of Gąskowo (Ganzkow) in the northeast and the residential area Pyszka (Peuske) in the southeast . In the south, the Voivodship Road 163 runs in a west-east direction , the course of which here corresponds to the former Reichsstrasse 124 . In the north lies the Szczecinek – Kołobrzeg railway , the former main line Belgard – Kolberg .

history

The residential area was created after 1860, when the village of Degow developed into a craft village and farmers relocated their farms from the village center to the field mark of the village. The place name "Fuchsberg" was taken from a forest of the same name, which lay further east on the Peuskebach. Before 1945 there were seven farms ("extensions").

Before 1945 Fuchsberg was in the rural community of Degow in the Kolberg-Körlin district of the Prussian province of Pomerania . But it was not run as a separate living space.

In 1945, Fuchsberg, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland. The population was driven out . The place name was translated into Polish as Lisia Góra .
