Pyszka ( German  Peuske ) is a residential area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to the Gmina Dygowo (rural community Degow) in the powiat Kołobrzeski (Kolberger Kreis) .

Geographical location

The place of residence is in Western Pomerania , about 110 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 15 kilometers southeast of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) on Voivodship Road 163 , the course of which here corresponds to the former Reichsstraße 124 . To the east of the residential area, the road leads over a bridge over the Peuskebach . The river Parsęta (Persante) flows south of the residential area .

history

The living space was created from an inn that was first entered on the Schmettauschen map from 1780. In Peuske there were 74 inhabitants in 1885, 82 in 1905 and 100 in 1925. At that time there was a sawmill and a ferry across the Persante in Peuske.

In the 1930s the Persante south of Peuske was straightened and a road bridge was built over the Persante instead of the earlier ferry. The road bridge no longer exists today.

Before 1945, Peuske formed a place to live in the rural community of Degow in the Kolberg-Körlin district of the Prussian province of Pomerania .

In 1945 Peuske came to Poland, like all of Western Pomerania. The population was driven out . The place name was Polonized to Pyszka .
