Krühner Mill

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Krühner Mühle was a residential area in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

The Krühner Mühle was a water mill that belonged to Gut Krühne until 1945 . It was about 1 ½ kilometers north of Krühne am Lossbach , which was dammed up here to form a mill pond shortly before its confluence with the Persante .

The Krühner Mühle may have been built in the Middle Ages. It was first mentioned in 1554 when visiting the church in Groß Jestin . In Ludwig Wilhelm Brüggemann's Detailed Description of the Duchy of Western and Western Pomerania (1784) it is only briefly referred to as "a water mill" in the article about Krühne. Around 1860, in addition to the water mill, the mill owned a windmill , which was later given up.

In 1816 nine inhabitants were counted here, in 1885 ten inhabitants and in 1905 seven inhabitants.

The Krühner Mühle belonged to the Krühne manor district formed in the 19th century . It was incorporated into Kerstin in 1928 with the manor district of Krühne, but was not officially listed there as a separate residential area.

After 1945, the area, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland . Today the living space is desolate . The desert is located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship , in the municipality of the Polish Gmina Dygowo (Degow municipality) on the border with Gmina Gościno (Groß Jestin municipality) .
