Pustary ( German Pustar ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the Gmina Dygowo ( rural community Degow ) in the powiat Kołobrzeski ( Kolberg district ).

Geographical location

The village is located in the north of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship , about 7 km southwest of Dygowo ( Degow ), 10 km southeast of Kołobrzeg ( Kolberg ) and 104 km northeast of the provincial capital of Szczecin . It belongs to the historical region of Pomerania .

Pustar was originally a single-line village that later developed into a mere manor . According to documents, older place names were Pustarze (1363), Pustars (1565) and Putstars (1572). In the 17th century, Pustar consisted of three parts A , B and C , to which a fourth part D was added later . Around 1864 there were 18 residential buildings in Pustar with the mill, including the stately home, the school building and a local council house, as well as around 210 residents who lived in 29 families.

In 1939, the large Pustar farm covered a total of 555 hectares.

Until 1928 Pustar formed its own manor district in the Kolberg-Körlin district . In 1928 it was incorporated into the neighboring community of Zwilipp as part of a regional reform .

At the turn of the year 1945/1946 , Polish militias expelled the German population of the village, as happened in all other villages in Western Pomerania, see History of Pomerania . It was subsequently settled by Poles .

Parish

Since the inauguration of the Zernin church in 1281, the village belonged to its evangelical parish until 1911, after which it belonged to the parish of Zwilipp .
