history
The village of Poldemin was first mentioned in 1263 when Hermann von Gleichen , the Bishop of Cammin , established the district of the new parish church in Fritzow . The village called "Pollemyn" at that time also belonged to the villages parish after Fritzow. Poldemin remained a parish in Fritzow after the Reformation and until 1945.
In 1415 the owner of Poldemin, Heinrich Bartin, sold the village to the nunnery in Kolberg , which Bishop Siegfried II of Cammin confirmed in 1429. During the Reformation, the village came to the sovereign along with the rest of the monastery property and was administered as part of the Kołobrzeg Old Town. In the 17th and 18th centuries, Poldemin was given as a fief to members of the noble Damitz family , but reappeared in 1784 under the villages of the Kolberg Office.
In Ludwig Wilhelm Brüggemann's detailed description of the current state of the Royal Prussian Duchy of Western and Western Pomerania (1784), the village of Poldemin is named as one of seven villages in the Kolberg district. At that time there were five farms here, including a Schulze, two half-farmers, two Kossäts and a Büdner , who was also a wood-keeper, a total of 12 households (“fire places”).
In the 19th century numerous extensions were created in the area around the village, so that Poldemin acquired the character of a scattered settlement . Until 1945 Poldemin remained dominated by agriculture, there were no commercial enterprises.
The rural community of Poldemin was in the Fürstenthum district until 1872 and when it was divided it became part of the Kolberg-Körlin district . There were no other places to live in the community.
In 1945, Poldemin, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland. The residents were driven out . The place name was Polonized to "Połomino".
Today the place belongs to Gmina Dygowo (rural community Degow) . He is largely abandoned.
