Barbara Keller-Inhelder (born August 24, 1968 in Männedorf ; resident in Sennwald and Baden AG ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ). From 2015 to 2019 she was a national councilor .

education and profession

Keller-Inhelder completed a basic course in English and began studying law , which she did not graduate. Afterwards she acquired a CAS as part of the certificate program Further Education for Politics at the University of St. Gallen . She is the managing director and co-owner of Omnia Consulting GmbH and was a lecturer for English at the technical college for technology, vocational school, watchmaking school, VHS for eleven years.

Political career

From 2000 to 2015 she represented her party in the St. Gallen Cantonal Council. There she was a member of the State Economic Commission until 2014 and a member of the Justice Commission from 2014. She is Vice President SVP of the Canton of St. Gallen , as well as President SVP of the district party See-Gaster and Vice President of SVP von Rapperswil-Jona . She was elected to the National Council in the Swiss parliamentary elections in 2015 . She lost her seat four years later .
