Beau Borders

Robert H. "Beau" Borders (* 1976 or 1977 in New Jersey ) is an American sound engineer and racing driver .

life and career

Beau Borders was born and raised in New Jersey . As a teenager he was an active motor sportsman . At the age of 14, Borders said he was the youngest team manager in the history of IMSA . At that time he was a member of his father's racing team.

Since the mid-1990s he has been working as a sound engineer for film and television productions. Borders was initially employed at George Lucas ' Skywalker Ranch . He later worked as a sound engineer on numerous large film productions.

At the Oscar ceremony in 2014 Borders and his colleagues were David Brownlow and Andy Koyama for her work in the war movie Lone Survivor in the category Best Sound nominated.

Beau Borders lives in Venice Beach, California .
