Benjamin Utzerath (* 1963 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Linked to the stage and television since 1986, Benjamin Utzerath began as an intern at the theater, later he worked as a unit manager and lighting technician behind the camera. In 1995 he completed his artistic training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin with a diploma. Since then Utzerath has been engaged in various German theaters, such as the Schlosspark Theater in Berlin, the Munich Volkstheater or the Theater Lüneburg . In Hamburg he worked at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater , the Altonaer Theater and the Thalia Theater , of which he was a member from 1995 to 2004. In the 1994/95 season Utzerath was engaged at the Paris Théâtre national de Chaillot . Under directors such as Gerd Heinz , Jürgen Flimm , Jérôme Savary and Martin Kušej , he played in the Shakespeare plays Hamlet , Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream as well as in Brecht's Mother Courage and Her Children , in Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett or Kleist's Der broken jug . In the 2000s Utzerath directed various stages in Hamburg, including the Winterhuder Fährhaus .

Benjamin Utzerath made his comrade debut in 1999 and has been on screen ever since. He played in series such as Double Use , Delta Team - Mission Secret! and 2004 in a crime scene episode. In addition, Utzerath has been a very busy radio play speaker since 1996, primarily in productions of the North German Broadcasting Corporation and Radio Bremen , e.g. B. 2009 in a new edition of the crime satire Dickie Dick Dickens .

Benjamin Utzerath lives in Hamburg, also works as a role coach and is a hobby beekeeper in his free time in the St. Georg district .
