Bernhard Landbrecht

Bernhard Landbrecht (* 1952 in Munich ) is a German architect and Bavarian home curator .

Life

Bernhard Landbrecht studied architecture at the TH Munich from 1973 to 1978 . From 1980 to 1983 he was an academic advisor at Helmut Gebhard 's chair there. In 1985 he completed his second state examination to become a government architect. From 1984 to 1991 he taught at the University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg .

Between 1984 and 1996 Landbrecht worked with the Munich architect Helmut Gebhard as the “Gebhard Landbrecht” architectural office in Munich. Since 2018, Landbrecht has been the new city caretaker of the state capital Munich and takes over the office as the successor to architect and home caretaker Gert Fritjof Goergens . Bernhard is the editor in charge of the architecture magazine “Der Bauberater” from the Bavarian State Association for Homeland Care.

Landbrecht is a member of the Association of German Architects and the Bavarian State Association for Homeland Care .

Judging activities

Landbrecht often acts as a judge. In most cases he is chairman of the jury, as in the competitions - ideas competition for the “Quartier an der Krankenhausstrasse”; Redesign of streets and squares, Untergriesbach market ; Center of Taufkirchen ; Expansion and restructuring of the Wolfsteiner Werkstätten, Passau ; Landshut West; Center of Krailing ; Demolition and new construction of components A and B of the Ottobrunn grammar school ; New sports hall, Ismaning; Former AOA site, Gauting .
