Bliederstedt is part of the community of Großenehrich in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia .
geography
The district of Bliederstedt is located on the middle Helbe , about 4 km northeast of Großenehrich on the southern slope of the Hainleite and on the northeastern edge of the Thuringian basin . Around the clustered village are orchards, field trees and hedges. To the west, most of the farmland is on weathered shell limestone soils .
history
The first mention of the place, which was also called Blidersteti and Blidestat , is not sufficiently clear. On the one hand, Bliederstedt is said to have been given to Gandersheim Abbey in 877 by a royal deed of donation . Another document mentions the year 979. In local research, April 21, 956 is also mentioned.
Until 1918 the place belonged to the rule of the principality Schwarzburg-Sondershausen .
Attractions
The Protestant branch church St. Anna is a choir tower church with a retracted, just closing extension in the east. The tower on a rectangular floor plan with partly renewed twin windows and a hip roof has been preserved from the originally Romanesque complex . The new building of the rectangular nave and the vestibule took place in 1668. Further changes took place in the 18th century. The hall contains a wooden barrel and two-sided galleries . There is a low, round arched choir arch to the current chancel on the tower ground floor . The winged altar with carved figures dates from the 15th century.
